If you are looking for a pure and unspoiled retreat, our Jutta Deluxe Farmhouse in the heart of the Austrian Waldviertel is the right choice for your next holidays. The excellent location of our Farmhouse (10 km north of the city “Zwettl”) makes it the ideal base for your next adventure to explore the gorgeous beauty of Austria’s unique north.

Our Farmhouse offers space for up to 9 persons and also some special features: the large courtyard invites to grill & chill sessions. If you travel with your kids the trampoline and the basketball hoop in the barn as well as a large meadow could be of your interest. And for any workshops, educational or team-building camps, the special multipurpose room equipped with chairs and a whiteboard may become interesting for your location considerations. If you love to cook jam, you should visit the Farmhouse in late summer, as our plum trees are than ready to harvest – and whatever you can harvest you can take with you!

Location

Our Jutta Deluxe Farmhouse is located in a small village called “Kleinotten” and is around 10km north of Zwettl. Kleinotten and Zwettl are located in the upper Waldviertel – a quiete, colourful and largely untouched stretch of land.

Travel by car:
From Vienna (south/east) and Graz via the A21 and A1 to the Sankt Pölten junction, continue via the S33 to Krems an der Donau, then via the B37 and B38 to Zwettl. From Vienna (north/east) via the A22 to the Stockerau junction, continue via the S5 to Krems an der Donau, then via the B37 and B38 to Zwettl.

Lake Ottenstein
If you like to combine water fun and hiking then you should visit the recreation area of the Ottenstein reservoir (Stausee Ottenstein). The 4.5 km² reservoir created in the 1950s has become a popular recreational area in the Waldviertel thanks to a multitude of leisure and sports facilities. We highly recommend to rent a Stand Up Paddle Board at Boats2Sail and to explore the area from the water.
Spa & Wellness
If you like to relax and seize the hot springs as well as sauna, then you should visit the “Solefelsenwelt” in Gmünd. The Resort offers a breath-taking pool paradise with the healing power of more than 1000m² of Bad Ischls salt water. Further the sauna area offers 6 different indoor and outdoor saunas with aromatherapy sessions, a steam bath and a hammam. With so many sauna and steam bath options to choose from, every sauna fan will find what they’ve been looking for.
Nature parks
Imposing rocks, cool waters and mystical spots, the Waldviertel has many inviting places for enjoying and exploring the great outdoors. There are idyllic woodlands, primordial moors and cool burbling waters as well as impressive rock formations with unique geomantic vibrations. The “Blockheide” and “Heidenreichsteiner Moor” are nature parks nearby.
